Imran Hussein

CEO

Imran is CEO and co-founder of both SecuraCapital Partners and AgriSecura Partners. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Studies from City University Business School.

Most recently, Imran was senior director at Credit Suisse in Dubai, joining in 2008, where he was responsible for investment banking coverage across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Prior to this, he was the MENA COO for markets and investment banking at Merrill Lynch and Co. He established the Merill Lynch International Dubai branch, together with the Merrill Lynch Riyadh office in Saudi Arabia.

Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Imran spent 6 years working at Deutsche Bank in Dubai, London, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. Here, he as responsible for setting up Global Emerging Markets Equity Platform for the bank, including joint ventures and brokerage companies in Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, and India.
