Chairman and Founder

Jeffrey is chairman and founder of SecuraCapital Partners, an advisory firm helping clients make sustainable decisions in mergers, acquisitions, and strategic capital rising. He is also chairman and founder of AgriSecura Partners, a company created to invest in ethical food security solutions.

Jeffrey has a strong pedigree working in the emerging markets, having begun his journey in 1977 as a Peace Corps volunteer and staff member in Upper Volta. He went on to work for the Vatican Secretariat of Foreign Affairs, in the CARITAS department, specialising in refugee and migration projects in Togo, Zaire, Angola, Uganda, Rwanda, Sudan, The Bahamas, and Haiti.

After beginning his banking career in 1986, Jeffrey became CEO of Merrill Lynch Middle East and Africa, vice chairman of Deutsche Bank Investment Banking, and head of Middle East and Africa investment banking for Chemical Bank/Chase Manhattan.

Prior to the establishment of AgriSecura and SecuraCapital, he acted as vice chairman in investment banking for Credit Suisse, where he remains a senior advisor.

Jeffery is an active supporter of various entertainment, human development, and education programmes, including the founding of a microcredit bank in Yemen. He also sponsors scholarship and youth sports programmes in his hometown in Tennessee. His hobbies include baseball, which he plays in charity tournaments, and riding an aging Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
